Happy Friday! It's traditional during Diwali to receive and wear new clothes and I wanted to get some for the kids. After a few hours of shopping and not finding anything (last minute of course) I decided to make up this little dress for Amaani. A few hours later, we were off and picking acorns.
The dress is from the same pattern and size as this
A-line dress and the
Reversible A-line Dress (Simplicity 1890). I was crossing my fingers that it would still fit-- and it did! Although, looking at these pictures, I can see how much taller she's gotten!
The fabric is some cotton shirting I've been hoarding, but decided to cut into just for this. The dress is unlined with piping finishing off the neckline. Super quick!
